About Us Family owned and operated since 1984, Dejon Delights is proud to offer the finest Smoked Salmon and Halibut available. Our small custom smokehouse is nestled on the Chilkat Peninsula between two glacier-draped mountain ranges that surge 7,000 feet out of a Pacific fjord. We believe in supporting our community by buying our fish from local fisherman and providing jobs to year-round residents.
Unlike many smoke houses, Dejon Delights still practices the art of hand-crafted Smoked Salmon and Halibut. We start by carefully selecting our fish, hand-filleting them and treating them with meticulous care. A watchful eye must be kept on the smokers to ensure the premium product to which our customers have grown accustom.
Our smokery and retail store are located on Portage Street in Haines, Alaska, just up from the cruise ship dock. We also have a seasonal retail location in Skagway, Alaska, on Fifth Avenue. While on your Alaskan vacation, be sure to stop in either location for a free sample of our products. Chances are you'll be met by Daymond or Scott themselves.
